A Youth Collaborative Exhibition at the Museo De Las Américas in Denver, CO

Nuestras Historias at the Museo De Las AMÉRICAS

Young artists ages 12 - 21 and their educators are invited to submit artwork for an opportunity to be included in the Nuestras Historias | Our Stories exhibit in January 2026. Works may use any medium, but should address the topics of hidden histories, ancestry, and identity.

Submissions must be received by September 15th and should include at least two high-resolution images of the piece and a 250-word artist statement explaining who the artist is and how they addressed the exhibition’s theme: How can art share the stories hidden in plain sight?

The curation team will choose pieces no later than September 30th. Artists chosen to participate in the exhibit will be offered a stipend for their contribution and will work with Museo staff to ship and return art.
